Roof repair services

What's going on with your roof?

Most calls we get in Cape Coral come down to one of these. If yours isn't on the list, call anyway, and we'll tell you straight whether it's something we fix.

Roof leak repair

A ceiling stain rarely sits right under the hole. We trace the water back to where it enters, repair the underlayment and seal it up, then water-test before we leave.

Cracked, slipped or missing tiles

Broken barrel and flat tiles let sun and rain reach the underlayment. We replace them with the closest match available and re-secure loose ridge and hip caps.

Storm & wind damage

Lifted shingles, torn ridge vents, tiles thrown across the yard. We tarp what's open the same visit when we can, then come back with materials for the permanent fix.

Flashing, vents & pipe boots

Valleys, chimneys, skylights and plumbing vents are where most leaks start. We replace cracked boots and re-flash the joints instead of smearing sealant over them.

Flat roof ponding & blisters

Low-slope roofs over lanais and additions hold water after every afternoon storm. We patch splits and blisters, re-seal seams and fix the drainage that caused it.

Soffit, fascia & drip edge

Rotted fascia boards and loose soffit panels let water and animals into the attic. We replace the damaged sections and reset the drip edge so the roof sheds water again.

Repair or replace?

A leak doesn't automatically mean a new roof

We're a repair company first. After the inspection you get photos and a plain answer on which side of this list your roof falls on.

A repair usually makes sense when

  • The damage is in one area: a valley, a vent, a few tiles or shingles
  • The rest of the roof still has years left in it
  • The decking underneath is dry and solid
  • The leak started after a specific storm or impact

It's time to talk replacement when

  • Leaks keep showing up in new places
  • The underlayment is brittle across the whole roof
  • Decking is soft or sagging in several spots
  • Your insurer has flagged the roof's age

FAQ

Roof repair questions we hear every week

How much does roof repair cost in Cape Coral?

It depends on the roof type, how much is damaged and what's underneath. A few tiles or a pipe boot is a very different job from a rotted valley, so most repairs land somewhere between $350 and $1,800. That's why the inspection is free and the quote is in writing before we start. See the roof repair cost guide for every range.

Can you repair a tile roof without replacing the whole thing?

Usually, yes. Tiles can be lifted so the underlayment beneath can be repaired, then set back in place. If the original tile is discontinued we'll show you the closest match before installing it.

How fast can you get out for a roof leak?

Usually the same or next day. For an active leak, call (239) 842-8260 rather than using the form so we can talk you through protecting the inside until we arrive.

Do I need a permit for a roof repair?

Some repairs do and some don't. It depends on the size and type of work. When the City of Cape Coral requires one, we pull it and schedule the inspection for you.

Will my homeowners insurance cover the repair?

That's between you and your insurer, and it depends on your policy and what caused the damage. What we can do is give you clear photos and a written scope of the damage to send with your claim.

Do you repair the flat roof over a lanai or addition?

Yes. The joint where a flat section ties into the main roof is one of the most common leak points we see, and it's a repair we do often.

About us

A local crew that fixes roofs

Cape Coral Roof Repair exists for the homeowner who needs a leak fixed, not a sales pitch. We work on the roofs this city is actually built with, we know what salt air and summer storms do to them, and we'd rather repair a roof that has life left than sell you one you don't need yet. We're a family business with an office here in the Cape, and our crew is certified by major roofing manufacturers to install their systems.
